BILLET 4340 oil pump gears for the Nissan RB25/26 engine. These gears are direct replacements for the OEM Oil Pump and measure approximately Ø81mm OD and 11mm thick (outer gear).

There are two different oil pump options for the RB25/26 engine so please check the sizing before you purchase.

This set replaces the standard gears which are prone to failure even on light modification. The factory gears are sintered (powdered metal compressed under extreme pressure and heat) and were never designed for high horsepower or high RPM applications.

Precision machined from 4340 billet steel, featuring an N1 spec ‘wave’ profile for higher flow, HSE gears have been repeatedly proven under extremely harsh conditions. All HSE oil pump gears now go through isotropic polishing for stress-free, smooth running.

To-date, we have manufactured thousands of oil pump gears, many of them being installed in 1000+ horsepower vehicles.

Billet oil pump gears greatly reduce the chances of oil pump failure, which when fail, can cause massive amounts of damage very quickly to pistons, valves and camshafts.

So, to save on a costly engine rebuild, fit HSE Billet Oil Pump Gears. It is money well spent.

It is the engine builders responsibility to ensure that all components are clean, undamaged and free running BEFORE and AFTER installation.

Gears must be assembled initially with clean engine oil or assembly grease. Do NOT run dry!

With the inner and outer gear sitting in front of you and the nose/seal diameter facing toward you, the outer gear should be laid over the inner gear with the “wave” profile in a clockwise orientation. The 2 wave “points” should be facing in the same direction (see assembly instructions).

These gears are direct replacements for standard gears. If something doesn’t fit easily, then something isn’t right. You should not have to modify the housing and once installed, the gears should spin freely, with no restriction other than the oil seal.
